HORIZON VIHAAN

Horizon is our primary gatekeeper and has executive control over most internal functions. He spent a good two years pretending he wasn't- And he had us all damn well convinced. He's far more open about his role and his history these days, and he's chosen to use his abilities to help us out as best he can. He fronts a decent bit, but the real reason he's considered a main fronter is because he's nearly always watching from the back and can pop in whenever he wants- Which he does a fair bit.

He can come off as intimidating or scathing on first glance. He has a very strong flat affect and deadpan/monotone way of speaking, along with tending towards being incredibly formal/professional. We're often asked if we're in a bad mood or assumed to be intentionally rude when he's fronting. Most of the time, neither are true- He's actually pretty friendly towards people he likes beneath his outward demeanor, if not a bit socially awkward. He's very knowledgeable and doesn't shy away from telling people what they need to hear.

He highly enjoys cold and cloudy weather, cats (especially black ones), documentaries, philosophy, psychology, and going down research rabbit holes on random topics. He dislikes most physical contact, hates hot weather, and has a weird vendetta against teriyaki chicken.

When he fronts and has down time, he tends to draw a lot- Especially comics. He also really likes playing Ooblets, writing, and listening to music (He loves Hozier). He also fronts a lot at our data entry job and frankly seems to enjoy it.

Internally he's dating Gavin, and is very close with Piper. He has a working relationship with Caroline and Flint to different capacities- Caroline is an advisor to him, and Flint- Who is able to bypass most internal/headspace barriers- helps him monitor/manage areas of the system that he himself can't access.

He's highly analytical and offers sound logical solutions to issues when he can. While he struggles to show affection outright, he still does so in his own ways- Such as teasing Piper, giving blunt (but well-meaning) advice/observations, or offering information about topics that interest him. His humor is very deadpan and eloquent- He can throw out devastating (joking) insults out of absolutely nowhere and it frankly scares me LMAO. He also, frankly, has a superiority complex over most of the system (besides the alters he's close to) that bleeds to the outside world when someone loses his respect. He rarely gets outwardly angry, but he is also very quick to shut down any disrespect or mistreatment towards him- He will Not tolerate bullshit.
