PIPER ARTEMIS WEBB

Piper is our longest running host (2019-2021, 2023-present) and has been a main fronter pretty much our entire life. He's incredibly kind, observant, and helpful- He's been affectionately dubbed 'the heart and soul of Sterling Manor' by multiple of the others due to his continued efforts to facilitate healthy communication, respect, and recovery through the system.

More than anything else, he deeply enjoys psychology and writing. He's incredibly knowledgeable on psychology topics- Especially trauma and dissociation- and is currently at the forefront of our effort to get to college, get a degree in psychology, and become a therapist. He tends to have a lot to say if you ask him for his observations on you or a general situation, and generally tends to view things through a highly analytical lens. While we all enjoy writing, he in particular is a very strong writer, as noted by our friends.

He smokes an insane amount of weed compared to the others and, despite being outwardly formal, has an incredibly surreal sense of humor that can only really be described as "peak zoomer humor". He's more energetic and unhinged around people he likes.

Internally, he's dating Flint, and things are.. questionably romantic between him and Jynx + Cassie as well. He's also very close with Horizon, and sees Jackson and Gavin as brothers in the found family way.

Organization, information retention, observation, and rationality are his strong suits. As observant as he is of others, however- He's a bit willfully oblivious in terms of self reflection. This dude made an entire self insert character that was "Piper Webb, but trans" and still spent years in denial about being trans himself.

Has a taste for bitter foods- Unsweet tea and dark chocolate especially. Loves the color red, space, flannels, pokemon, swimming in the ocean, and cold weather. Dislikes spicy food, chicken wings, unannounced physical contact, swimming in pools, and long car rides.

'Piper' is technically a subsystem composed of ~10 loosely elaborated facets- Think OSDD-1a. He prefers to be seen and treated as one person, though, and usually doesn't distinguish which facet is fronting (with exceptions for P. Machina, P. Sanguis, and BBat- All of which are more distinct than the others and prefer to make themselves known, even if they still see themselves as Piper).
